Groups and Meetings

Most groups meet from September through to July. (full details of dates can be found on The Messenger page each month (click here)).  The Friday Communion Service and Coffee Morning are held every week throughout the year.



                   A group of ladies who enjoy singing.  Their repertoire expands each year
              and covers both religious and secular music.  The choir is delighted to visit
              local churches and clubs. 

10.00 a.m. & 2.00 p.m. BOWLS CLUB
                    The Bowls club meets at various times most days through the week. 
               They play to the English Short Mat Association rules with full size woods. 
               There is a membership fee for the season and a Green fee for each game.
                It`s a friendly game with a `cuppa`.  The Club runs from October - April.



 7.30 p.m. LADIES GROUP meet on the 2nd. & 4th. Tuesday of the month.
                    This group of ladies who meet to socialise and support each other, the Church and other charities.  e 
                    Their aims are:  To promote and extend Christian fellowship.
                                            To meet together for social, educational and fund-raising events, 
                                            To raise money for charity, ie. the Church and local, national and foreign charities

7.00 p.m. NEW MUSIC GROUP meets most Tuesdays on 1st & 3rd. week of the month

Do Drop In Community Cafe

11.00 a.m. -1.00 p.m.  DO DROP IN - COMMUNITY CAFE
      Everyone warmly welcomed for food and friendship.
       tea and coffee from 11-12  
       light lunches from 12 - 1 p.m.    

                 A friendly, fun, sports club for all adults. 
                 It has in its time been affectionately called the "Adult Youth club!"



                 For both men and women, our programme is varied, lively and topical,
presenting a gospel of hope and giving joy and inspiration for daily living.  
             There is always a friendly cup of tea and a warm welcome.

7.30 p.m.  WESLEY GUILD
                 Meeting once a month on the third Thursday, from October to May
                the Guild has a varied programme, usually with a speaker and
                finishing with 
a cup of tea or coffee.

2.00 p.m. & 7.30 p.m.  BADMINTON CLUB
                Meets most weeks for all over age 16.  For more details please ring 01263 823475



9.15 a.m. PRAYER GROUP  
meets in the Coffee Lounge for about half an hour.

10.00 a.m.  HOLY COMMUNION

10.45 a.m. -12 noon COFFEE MORNING
                 An opportunity to come along, chat and make friends over a cup of tea or coffee,     
And, on the 2nd. Friday of each month the Fair-Trade Stall will also be available.
