Groups and Meetings


Most groups meet from September through to July.   

 MONDAYS

10.30 a.m.  FELLOWSHIP CHOIR
                   A group of ladies who enjoy singing.  Their repertoire expands each year
              and covers both religious and secular music.  The choir is delighted to visit
              local churches and clubs. 

10.00 a.m. & 2.00 p.m. BOWLS CLUB
                    The Bowls club meets at various times most days through the week. 
               They play to the English Short Mat Association rules with full size woods. 
               There is a membership fee for the season and a Green fee for each game.
                It`s a friendly game with a `cuppa`.  The Club runs from October - April.

 

TUESDAYS

10.00 a.m. - 3.00  Warm Welcome Space
              Drop in an any time between 10am and 3 pm, and enjoy a warm friendly welcome, tea, coffee and
                 biscuits, various games and activities, newspapers, wi-fi, and at around mid-day, soup and a roll served.

WEDNESDAYS

Do Drop In Community Cafe


11.00 a.m. -1.00 p.m.  DO DROP IN - COMMUNITY CAFE
      Everyone warmly welcomed for food and friendship.
       tea and coffee from 11-12  
       light lunches from 12 - 1 p.m.    


 2.00 p.m.  BOWLS CLUB  (see details under Monday)

7.00 p.m.  TABLE TENNIS CLUB
                 A friendly, fun, sports club for all adults. 
                 It has in its time been affectionately called the "Adult Youth club!"

 

THURSDAYS

 10.00 a.m.  BOWLS CLUB  (see details under Monday)

 2.30 p.m. - 4.30 p.m.  `ENCOMPASS`  (2nd. Thursday of the month)
 Social Group is for Everyone.  It has a varied programme suggested by members of the group and could be anything from speakers, to creative afternoons to a meal out.   Refreshments will be provided (£1).    A warm welcome to everyone

                 Come and enjoy singing hymns and worship songs, followed by refreshments, in a warm friendly atmosphere

10.45 a.m. - Coffee Morning (1st. Friday of the month)
